Teaching the paper rose craft was a fun and engaging experience. We started off by folding a piece of paper in half three times. We then cut a semicircle. This forms a flower. After that, we made three more. We then proceeded to cut out parts of the flowers, first we cut out one part. This time we cut out two parts. We repeated this until we got to the last flower. We put the parts smallest to largest on a wooden skewer. We also put double sided tape on the skewer. This ensures that the rose will not slide around. After that, we added leaves, and colored the skewer green. And just like that, we were done with the paper rose. In conclusion, the process of making the rose was a bit complicated, but in the end each kid made a beautiful paper rose.
