FLL (First LEGO League) is an education program that introduces STEM to children ages 4-16 through fun, exciting hands-on learning. In the process of working on a yearly LEGO robotics challenge, participants learn the basics of STEM and gain real-world problem-solving experience. It includes three age groups Discover (4-6y), Explore(6-10y), and then Challenge(9-16y). The three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, design as well as teamwork skills.
This seminar is for parents or future coaches who are interested in the FLL Challenge program for kids 9-16 years old. Our speaker is an experienced coach whose team won second place in the Champion’s Award last year. The topics will include but are not limited to how to start a team, how to organize team activities, and how to prepare for the final competition, etc.
