This is a rigorous 10 sessions workshop for beginners to learn the basic foundational concepts that will be required for Gifted entry tests like the CogAT and Iowa Assessments.
About the instructor: Jerry is a sophomore at Interlake High School who is well qualified academically with 5s in all 4 of his AP tests this year, including AP Calculus AB. He also achieved an 800 in the SAT Math 2 subject test.
Time: 10 sessions, every Thursday afternoon 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm, consisting of a math portion and an English portion. The dates will be 11/12, 11/19, 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, 1/7/2021, 1/14/2021, 1/21/2021.
For whom: Anyone currently at 2nd – 4th grade level math.
Required materials:
- Computer with Zoom installed
- Functional webcam
- Dark-colored markers
- Paper/Whiteboard
Tuition: $50 for all 10 sessions, all proceedings will be donated to Little Masters Club.
