This class had more of an unexpected outcome compared to what I expected. The overall environment is a bit different, there’s no way to physically help them if they are having trouble with something, and it is a bit hard to hear and focus on just one question at a time. However, we came out with a few nice crafts, and some seemed proud of their creation. This class also did go overtime by 30 minutes or so which I did not expect that it would take that long, so I gave everyone a choice to keep learning the craft if they wanted or leave at the set time. We started with 19 kids following along, but we ended up with only three who completed this craft since it seemed too hard for a lot. I decided since all this happened and many thought it was too hard, that I would make a video tutorial so they could follow along and make it on their own time if they wished to do so. I am hoping to see photos of the people who attempted this on their own time, but overall this was a great and interesting experience.
