The Little Masters Club of Northern California recently went to talk to a group of environmentalists celebrating Earth Day about our new Battery Recycling Program. The entire group was all very supportive of our idea, and there were many people who filled most of the seats. Another program we just started is a reading book club for younger kids’ grades pre-k to 2nd grade. Both programs are free and run by volunteers. The battery program runs about two times a month, and the book club, once a month. Both have high participation involved, and have been a huge success.
Half of our reading club and three volunteers. We have a 1:3 ratio of teachers to students.
